Description
This kayak must go to a new home. Circumstances have changed and I must sell. Collectors Item - Original Struer “Makker” K2 as paddled by Robert Lee and Barry Kelly at the Moscow Olympics 1980. Placed 5th in the 500m final. Branded with the Moscow Olympic scrutineers stamp on front deck. Extraordinary mahogany construction, manufactured in Danmark. Refinished in gloss polyurethane. Struer soft cover provided, as purchased when new, 46 years in total has had an effect on the cover material. Just purchased a new stretch cover from Surf AIDS valued at $144. Australian Canoe Federation letter and post card sent from Moscow Olympics 1980. This kayak is in perfect condition, and is sold by the original owner.Details
