Buyers & Sellers beware of scammers

Lately Geartrade has had a few scammers listing fake ads to try and steal your money. Please, never send money to sellers you can't verify. Often the ad will be in a remote area (Tasmania or Far North Qld) so you may be tempted to pay in advance and hope for delivery. Try and use secure payments like Paypal if possible, better still use cash on pickup or delivery. Ask the seller to facetime you with the product, or have the seller deliver the product to a courier depot for verification. DON'T BE FOOLED, BE VIGILENT!
