Carbonology Sport Boost X LV. Carbon hybrid Listing ID: 22365

This is the most versatile and comfortable ski I've owned (and I've owned over a dozen). It is an excellent downwind and general rough water ski. It is very predictable and confidence inspiring in confused, choppy conditions. I really like this ski but... I have too many skis. I have a faster ski, I also have a more stable ski, I've got a ski I can use in white water and another ski that is (only slightly) better in well organised down wind conditions (although that one is not as good as the Boost in crappy confused water). I also have two sea kayaks. Anyway; on any given day I usually use a different ski (or kayak) so as great as the Boost X LV is; it doesn't get used as much as it should. If I could only have one ski; this would be the one. This ski is in good condition although it has a repair to the gunwale that was completed before I bought the ski. That repair looks and feels solid and has not shown any weakness. I am completely confident in the integrity of the ski so I've had it out in some pretty awesome downwinders. It has a nice grip pad on the footplate and it's been gunwale taped. I'm driving to Perth for The Doctor so I might be able to help with transport.
