Nordic Kayaks Nitro 600 CarbonX - 8.6kg (Green Nose) in close to new condition. Some very light scratches on the nose and two small 10cm size dents filled with epoxy. If you are looking for a new, lower volume elite ski then the Nitro 600 CarbonX is a great option. The Nitro is an elite surfski developed for elite/advanced paddlers seeking maximum speed. On flat this boat is as quick as a K1 elite kayak. This ski surfs superbly in downwind conditions with precise steering control. The cutouts on the sides are deep and narrow, allowing for a perfectly tight paddle catch. The bucket accommodates a larger range of paddlers than the previous model (Nitro 60). The construction process- all NK skis are now made with autoclave and prepreg technique, a process often reserved for the aerospace industry and F1 cars. The high pressure (up to 4 x atmospheric pressure) and heat from the autoclave ensure the pre-impregnated fibres bond perfectly with the composite core creating an extra ordinary light but strong construction.
